Ensure an error page is never a dead end on your site by following these tips:
- Show the header navigation: allows the user to navigate to anywhere on the site using a familiar interface.
- Error title and message: try to give some context to what page they’re seeing and why (e.g. sorry we couldn’t find the page you were looking for).
- Add a search box: so they can easily find what they might have been looking for.
- Add a clear CTA that goes to the homepage.
