Well, it’s supposed to be. Yes, that password you just emailed to your colleague. Or the one posted in Slack/Teams/WhatsApp/whatever. Or the one added to the Trello board.

Sure, encryption exists, but it’s not worth the risk. Use a service like One Time Secret to send someone sensitive information like a password. Even better – send usernames and passwords in separate One Time messages for additional protection.
